Located on the northeast coast of Margarita Island, in the state of Nueva Esparta, at the foot of the national parks Cerro Guayamurí and Cerro Matasiete, in the Guarame sector, stands the most exclusive and prestigious residential and tourist complex on the island: Los Ranchos de Chana. Its name comes from its designer, Chana Uzcátegui, who used local artisanal materials and elements, such as ochre-colored walls, irregular stone slabs, clay and wood. The unique design, sometimes described as "colonial rustic", is characterized by interiors that open to the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, enhancing the green mountains and the infinite blue of the sea, as well as by the swimming pools and splendid gardens designed in perfect harmony with these natural elements.

Los Ranchos de Chana is an exclusive private community with excellent security services that guarantee absolute privacy and tranquility to its residents and visitors. The El Guamache house is located on a 3016 m² plot situated 80 meters above sea level on Cerro Guayamurí, right at the boundary with the national park and at the highest point of the complex. This privileged location makes the entire dwelling an exceptional vantage point, with over 200° of natural views among the most impressive in the area, where the intense contrast between the sea and the mountain is incomparable.

Access is gained from the upper part of the property, where a spacious parking area has been built.

The main house, designed by architect Francisco Villarubia, has an area of approximately 500 m², distributed over four welcoming levels, with capacity to comfortably accommodate 10 people. Access is through the intermediate level, which includes the living room and dining room, a small sitting room, the kitchen and a rustic staircase leading to the master bedroom. The master bedroom with private bathroom is located on the upper floor. On the pool level there are two bedrooms with private bathroom. In front, the pool area blends harmoniously with the horizon, and landscaped gardens surround the house, with bamboo bridges crossing the rainwater course that descends from the mountain. North of the pool there is a bedroom for four people with a spacious private terrace and a wooden platform overlooking the garden. Above it is an outdoor social area, which functions as an annex to the main house, with a dining room that can accommodate up to 16 people under one roof, offering a panoramic view of the sea to the east. At the lower part of the property, hidden from view from the main house, is the caretaker's dwelling, a small house of about 60 square meters, with a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room/dining room and covered parking. A couple lives there, in charge of the impeccable maintenance of the property and providing attentive service to guests and residents.

All rooms are equipped with the necessary elements to guarantee maximum comfort and rest for their occupants, including: split air conditioning with remote control, Directv, flat-screen televisions, DVD player and hot water.
